This speedometer cable is constructed with a twisted flexible inner core rotating within a reinforced outer sheath, terminating in precision-knurled coupling nuts machined to correct thread pitch for secure connection between the gearbox drive housing and the speedometer instrument head on the Tricab. It functions to transmit rotational drive from the transmission output to the speedometer, enabling accurate speed and odometer readings, and any fraying, seizing, or kinking within the casing can cause erratic needle movement, complete loss of speed indication, or an audible whining noise from the dashboard. Supplied in authentic Bajaj sealed packaging with a hologram genuinity verification strip for complete assurance of originality.
